Job summary

Outtake seeks a Frontend Engineer to define customer experiences and build the FE Software Factory that enables the team to ship reliable, polished UI. You will shape product direction, design interaction patterns, and set the frontend quality bar as the company grows.

You should love craft, speed, and product judgment, and enjoy translating ambiguous workflows into intuitive interfaces that feel fast, intelligent, and obvious. This is an early-stage role with ownership across frontend decisions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with React and TypeScript, familiarity with NextJS.
• Strong design sense and experience building design systems.
• Experience building complex systems with coding agents and the judgement to know when they are wrong.

Responsibilities

• Define FE experience and build the FE Software Factory for the team to ship UI.
• Refine design system and design language, ensure consistency across workflows.
• Own UI testing framework and maintain high quality FE code; coach others.
