Job summary

Pump.co in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Frontend Engineer to shape our product and architecture. You’ll work with the founding team across the stack, with a focus on frontend, and help define technical direction from the ground up.

This onsite role offers $120k–$200k salary plus equity, and requires building scalable interfaces, collaborating with design and backend teams, and contributing to rapid iteration in a startup.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years as a full-stack engineer with frontend focus.
• Experience at Series B+ or pre-IPO is preferred.
• Strong React and Next.js proficiency; Python backend knowledge.
• Experience with AWS, SQL/NoSQL, Docker; Kubernetes a plus.
• Excellent collaboration and startup pace adaptability.

Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite 5 days a week)

Compensation: $120K–$200K salary + 0.1%–0.6% equity

Pump is on a mission to radically simplify AWS cost optimization for teams building in the cloud. We use group buying and AI to help startups save like big tech — often reducing AWS bills by ~60%, completely for free.

Asa FrontendEngineer , you’ll play a foundational role in shaping both our product and our company. You’ll work closely with the founding team, contribute across the stack (especially frontend), and help define our technical direction and culture from the ground up.
