Job summary

Stoke Space Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer on the Data Team to contribute to Stoke’s data visualization and analysis tooling. You will work across high-performance web UIs, real-time and batch data services, and scalable systems that monitor supercomputer environments and fielded hardware.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency with Typescript and Rust.
• Experience in front-end development for scientific computing, manufacturing workflows, or infrastructure monitoring/visualization.
• Hands-on with time series visualization libraries (Plotly, Highcharts).
• Design and maintain complex AWS-based systems.
• Experience building modern web apps with React.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Leadership experience from concept to production at scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack visualization tools for hardware and software analysis.
• Design intuitive front-end interfaces for troubleshooting, analysis and health monitoring of launch vehicles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design features meeting real-world, time-sensitive needs.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of visualization tools across front-end and back-end.
• Continuously improve tools and develop new features to meet evolving requirements.
• Mentor engineers and foster a strong technical culture.
• Participate in a low-friction on-call rotation; platform stability is critical.
