Fontainebleau Miami Beach offers a spectacular blend of Golden Era glamour and modern luxury. The hotel reimagines the original vision of legendary architect Morris Lapidus, creating a vibrant space where design, contemporary art, music, fashion, and technology merge to offer a unique guest experience. Located on oceanfront Collins Avenue in the heart of Millionaire's Row, Fontainebleau is one of Miami Beach's most historically and architecturally significant hotels, opened in 1954 and regarded as a pinnacle of Lapidus' career.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing courteous and competent services to ensure guests are roomed efficiently and without incident. This includes transporting luggage and other items, and escorting guests to and from their rooms.

Examples of Duties

  1. Transport luggage and escort guests to and from their rooms and other hotel areas.
  2. Run errands such as delivering newspapers, faxes, laundry, packages, flowers, etc., and communicate messages as necessary.
  3. Store and retrieve guest luggage.
  4. Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues within scope of authority, referring complex problems to the Bell Captain.
  5. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to maintain professional relationships with staff and guests.
  • Flexible schedule availability.
  • Bilingual ability is highly desirable.
  • One year of experience as a Bell Person at a major hotel preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
