Job summary

JW Marriott Grand Rapids is offering a Front of House internship for Spring 2027. This program provides an immersive overview of front-of-house positions, including Front Desk, Valet, and At Your Service roles. You will shadow experienced colleagues and gain hands-on experience in guest service at a premier hotel.

Ideal candidates are college students seeking academic credit, reliable, and eager to learn. Must communicate in English and be available weekends/holidays; some days involve learning

Qualifications

• Must be in college seeking internship for school credit.
• Reliable and motivated to learn new positions.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Comfortable with learning systems to perform day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Shadow front of house and learn all front desk and valet duties.
• Assist Front Desk Agent, Valet Cashier and At Your Service Agent tasks as needed.
• Deliver guest requests within standard service times.
