Job summary

Imperium Commodity Search is seeking an experienced Non-Ferrous Scrap Trader focused on procurement and export from the United States. This front-office role centers on sourcing, negotiating, and exporting scrap via containers to international destinations.

You will build supplier relationships, manage end-to-end trading, and target 2,000–3,000 MT monthly exports while maintaining margin and profitability in a global shipping context.

Qualifications

• Proven export trading experience from the USA.
• Strong network within US recycling and scrap markets.
• Experience handling 2,000–3,000 MT/month export volumes (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Procure non-ferrous metal scrap from US-based recycling companies and suppliers.
• Manage end-to-end trading cycle including sourcing, pricing, negotiation, and export execution.
• Handle consistent monthly volumes of 2,000–3,000 MT for export.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with scrap yards, processors, and aggregators.
• Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and arbitrage opportunities; coordinate with logistics teams for container shipments.
• Drive profitability through strategic buying and sales execution.
