Job summary

Community Dental Partners is seeking a Treatment Coordinator with dental experience to work closely with the dentist and front office staff. You will guide patients through treatment options, discuss insurance benefits, and help with pre-authorizations and claims.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork in a fast-paced dental environment. This is a full-time position with competitive hourly pay based on experience in dentistry.

Responsibilities

  • Understand day-to-day duties of front office staff and dental terminology.
  • Discuss treatment options with patients and explain insurance benefits.
  • Prepare consent forms and obtain parental approval before treatment begins.
  • Explain out-of-pocket costs and financing options to patients or parents.
  • Collect fees according to insurance or visit.
  • Assist the office manager with claims, codes, and pre-authorizations.
  • Support front office staff and maintain a clean lobby.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Treatment Coordinator - Dental Experience is Required

Reports to: Practice Manager
Key Partnerships: Billing, Clinical, Operations
Department: Operations
Salary: $17/hr + (based on experience in the dental field)
Classification: Non-Exempt
Status: Full Time

Job Responsibilities:
  • The Treatment Coordinator must understand and comprehend all of the day-to-day duties of front office staff and dental terminology.
  • Being able to have a clinical conversation with the patient(s) about the excessive treatment.
  • Accurately prepare the consent forms and get parental approval before treatment begins.
  • Explain insurance benefits and limitations, out of pocket expenses and financing options with the patient and/or parent(s) after the exam.
  • Collect fees per patient’s insurance or visit.
  • In this role, you will help the office manager send claims, codes
  • Must be able to understand pre-authorizations, narratives, and sending PA and intraoral pictures.
  • Provides support to the remainder of the front office team.
  • Clean/maintain front office area/lobby
  • Perform other duties as assigned
