Job summary

STATE STREET CORPORATION in the United States is seeking a senior trading operations leader to support and maintain production trading for multiple clients. You will function as a subject matter expert interfacing daily with Front Office Trade Management staff and lead a team to meet client SLAs and deadlines.

You will oversee risk-managed operations, drive audits, and mentor staff, including onboarding and cross-training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years related industry experience including 6 years of operational trading & trading support.
• Strong leadership and attention to detail; ability to manage a team of 3-8.
• Experience with domestic and international financials and all related financial trading instruments.
• Proficiency in Python/SQL/VBA; strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day team responsibilities with strong risk management and controls.
• Lead audits and ensure documentation protocols are followed.
• Provide SME guidance and training to team members; onboard new staff.
• Interface with front/middle/back office and external clients on complex inquiries.
• Produce ad-hoc reporting and participate in new client onboarding and integrations.
