The Role

The Front Office Supervisor will assist in the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office Department within the Rooms Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor Front Office personnel to ensure guests receive prompt, cordial attention and personal recognition.
  2. Ensure World of Hyatt members, repeat guests, and VIPs receive special attention and recognition.
  3. Control room availability, types, accuracy of room counts, and rate categories.
  4. Maximize occupancy, revenue, and average rates while maintaining high service standards.
  5. Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure rooms are maintained and meet the 'Room Ready on Arrival' policy, and meet guest needs and requests.
  6. Understand credit policies and procedures, and liaise with Finance to ensure proper credit handling.
