Job summary

Physicians Premier Emergency Room in the San Antonio area is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PRN) for the Day Shift. You will greet and register patients for evaluation and treatment, verify benefits, and ensure payment due at time of service is collected, while providing essential front office support.

Responsibilities include scanning and entering patient data in E-Power, handling phone calls, and maintaining supplies.

Qualifications

• 2-year experience in clerical support.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• CPR Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients for evaluation and treatment.
• Verify benefits and collect payment due at time of service.
• Enter patient information and census data in E-Power.
• Provide medical records to other providers as requested with patient consent.
• Answer phones and transfer calls as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and restrooms.
