Job summary

DRW is seeking a Software Engineer for its Front Office Systems team. You will embed with a trading desk, delivering specialized solutions while building domain knowledge.

You will then generalize patterns for use across desks, contributing to scalable, low-latency platforms in C++, Python, and TypeScript. Expect fast-paced development with strong collaboration and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Up to 7 years of experience using C++ and Python, with ability to work in multiple languages.
• Customer-facing production systems experience in fast-moving environments.
• Strong problem solving, clear communication, and collaboration with engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with best-in-class trading tools for Cumberland and FICC desks.
• Own the products from prototype to production.
• Embed with trading desks, learn their problem spaces, and build ergonomic, performant solutions.
• Build, maintain, and extend the central trading platform.
• Work with languages including C++, Python, and TypeScript; provide on-call support as needed.
