Assist in managing day-to-day hotel operations by maximizing financial returns, driving the development of people, creating and maintaining a unique guest experience, executing on brand standards, and building awareness of the hotel and brand in the local community. Act as General Manager in his/her absence.
Details:
- Assist the Manager in the development, implementation, and monitoring of financial and operational plans for the hotel.
- Provide regular direction and manage hotel operations for all departments.
- Assist the Manager with recording and inputting credit card purchases and petty cash purchases into the Hotel’s Google Drive Folder.
- Make recommendations for capital improvements to enhance the assets of the hotel and improve brand loyalty.
- Assist in the completion of EOM reports each month by its specified due date.
- Manage day-to-day operational activities, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members.
- Supervise front desk and shuttle staff, ensuring all checklists are completed by each employee.
- Ensure staffing schedules stay within the payroll budget and manage staff time effectively.
- Maintain communication with Management regarding operational issues and ensure front desk and housekeeping departments are aligned.
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to improve team performance, manage conflicts, and recognize achievements.
