Job summary

Hyatt Hotels at Spruce Peak in Stowe, Vermont, seeks an Assistant Front Office Manager to oversee daily Front Office operations and guest services.

You will lead pre-shift meetings, coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering, and uphold Hyatt's service standards to ensure memorable guest experiences. This role requires hospitality leadership and a passion for teamwork in a mountain resort environment.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or guest service background required.
• Hospitality Management degree or diploma preferred.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory or management experience.
• Strong managerial and guest service track record.
• Ability to work under pressure and be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Support daily Front Office operations and cover for the Front Office Manager.
• Promote cross-departmental communication and collaboration.
• Inspire and recognize team contributions to improve guest service.
• Lead daily pre-shift meetings with guest service teams.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering to prep rooms for check-in.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, rates, occupancy, and activities.
• Manage Front Office profitability and upsell to maximize revenue.
• Ensure end-of-shift procedures and checklists are completed.
• Protect guest confidentiality and data privacy.
