Expected pay for this position is $17.14/hour. This is an hourly position.
Position Summary: The Front Office Assistant provides exceptional customer service during interactions with patients, families, and support systems. They are the face of the office, and their interactions are crucial in creating a patient-first environment, making a positive first impression of OSF’s services.
Performs various reception and clerical duties in a medical practice front office, adhering to department guidelines for scheduling and registration. Collaborates with patients, providers, office staff, and insurance companies to meet patient needs. Communicates with insurance companies to determine patient benefits, completes prior-authorizations, and manages incoming and outgoing patient calls, co-pay collection, and appointment scheduling.
