Job summary

Peregrine Hospitality is seeking a Front Office Agent to welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs, handle reservations, and answer inquiries, delivering courteous service from arrival to departure. The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and basic computer skills in a fast-paced hotel environment.

You will coordinate with housekeeping, maintain a professional front desk, and process payments while adhering to hotel policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills; hotel PMS experience a plus.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Position Summary:

The Front Office Agent serves as the face of the hotel, delivering exceptional guest service from arrival to departure. This role is responsible for managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, answering guest inquiries, and resolving issues promptly to ensure a positive and memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner
  • Check guests in and out efficiently using the property management system
  • Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications
  • Answer phones, emails, and in-person inquiries accurately and courteously
  • Handle guest concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:

Flexible and long hours sometimes required

Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors, and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel
