Position Overview

We are seeking a Receptionist for our New York office headquarters. This role will be a full-time, five-day-a-week, office-based position and is part of the Corporate Services - Facilities team. The role is key to shaping the workplace experience aligned with MSCI’s Future of Work (FOW) philosophy. Responsibilities include assisting employees, clients, and guests with workplace navigation, supporting events outside regular hours, and collaborating with the Corporate Services team to ensure a productive environment.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage front desk operations from 8AM to 5PM, including a lunch break.
  • Represent the firm professionally as the first point of contact for clients and colleagues.
  • Greet and direct guests and clients, manage incoming calls, and maintain the reception area.
  • Support office space guidance, hybrid/return-to-work efforts, and safety protocols.
  • Participate in Life Safety Team activities, including trainings and emergency leadership.
  • Support events outside of regular hours, approximately 2-6 times a month.
  • Handle daily operations such as meeting room scheduling, facilities requests, and vendor management.
  • Manage Visitor Management system, desk reservation tools, and building platforms.
  • Assist with deliveries, office signage, reprographics, and administrative tasks like expense reporting and travel arrangements.
