Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a helpful Loss Prevention team member at our Champaign location to deter theft and protect the store environment. You will support store management, greet customers, and help maintain safety protocols throughout the shift.

This role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail setting. Starting pay ranges from $15.00 to $18.60 per hour, with benefits and potential for growth.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• 0-2 years retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss/dishonesty.
• Review and follow Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a Company-approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers and show courtesy and respect.
• Position yourself at the front of the store or in a department.
• Assist customers by directing them to management or customer service via radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior to LP or store management.
• Complete a closing safety sweep with management.
• Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
