Qualifications: High school diploma or GED with (2) years’ experience in similar position. Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills. Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail. Knowledge in Microsoft applications including word and excel. Ambitious standards of personal hygiene and personal appearances. Ability to be on feet for several hours at a time. Experience using POS system preferred. Food handler’s training and alcohol license. A combination of education and experience may be substituted.Candidate must be able to pass extensive background check in accordance with Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations to obtain gaming license. Flexibility to work any shift as needed or assigned. (Includes weekends/nights/ and holidays). Frequent lifting may occasionally be required to lift more than fifty pounds. Requires frequent bending, stooping, and walking, and must be self motivated and able to work independently.The purpose of the Front of House Supervisor is to assist the FOH Manager in all aspects of the main restaurant and especially the front of the house. They provide a more detailed supervisory eye on specifically food ordering, inventory, food preparation, food presentation, overall cleanness of front of house.Responsibilities and DutiesThe Front of House Supervisor is assisting FOH Manager with day-to-day operation and management of the main restaurant, making sure guests are served promptly, keeping area clean and sanitized. To ensure the guests of Rock and Brews restaurant are receiving quality service. Any questions or concerns will be directed to your immediate supervisor for clarification.- Assist the FOH Manager or in the absence of the manager, manage a team of front of the house staff including scheduling training, and general supervision.
- Oversee that all opening and closing duties of the restaurant are completed correctly and that cleanliness and maintenance are maintained.
- Responsible for overseeing the balancing of daily and nightly cash drawers and POS.
- Inventory and maintenance of par levels for front of house items and those used with in the Brew House.
- Monitor and keep alcohol license book up to date and ensure all servers, waitress, bartenders, and F&B Mangers/Directors have their R-serve certificate and alcohol license. Seek help from HR when license need to be renewed.
- Assist with the proper training of employees of all shifts.
- Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Oversee and monitor restaurant staff is, stocking, sweeping, mopping, taking out trash and cleaning area.
- Run a register when needed to keep lines moving and guests happy.
- Provide excellent guest service to guests and excellent leadership to employees in a pleasant, professional, and friendly manner.
- Ensures that exceptional internal and external guest service standards are always number one. Communication – balancing listening and talking, speaking, and writing clearly and accurately, influencing others, keeping other informed. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company.
- Enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standards in their area.
- Work closely with Front of House Manager to provide a seamless experience.
- Responsible for quality assurance of products leaving the serving counter and keeps moving during peak times.
- Ability to forecast food and beverage needs.
- Responsible for training food and beverage staff and to make sure they are following food handling certificates and alcohol service training.
- Be always courteous and professional to co-workers, guests, vendors, or anyone you may have contact with while on duty.
- Gaming badge must be worn on upper left quadrant while on duty or conducting company business.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
