The Press Club Grill in Sylacauga, AL is seeking a friendly front-of-house server to welcome guests, take and relay orders, and input them into the POS. You will make menu recommendations, remember allergens, and ensure guests have a great dining experience.

The ideal candidate is punctual, a team player, comfortable with fast-paced service, able to multitask, and willing to work nights and weekends. Previous customer-facing experience is highly valued in this role.

Responsibilities

• Make guests feel welcome and accommodated.

• Promote menu specials or limited-time offers.
• Deliver food and drinks to tables and assist staff as needed.
• Provide refills and check on guests.
• ID guests for alcohol and process payments.
• Keep track of receipts and cash transactions.
• Encourage sign-ups to the restaurant’s loyalty program.
• Bus tables and restock server stations.
• Maintain soda station and refill ice.
• Assist line cooks with light prep tasks.
