Job summary

Canteen North America is hiring a full-time Porter in the Bay Area, Hayward location. The role runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, with a focus on maintaining front-of-house cleanliness and safety.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 70 lbs and will receive training as needed. Typical duties include bussing tables, transporting dishes, washing and cleaning stations, and helping with safety practices to ensure smooth service operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred.
• Position may require lifting up to 50–70 lbs.
• Willing to train and learn procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of front of house areas.
• Busses, clears, and cleans tables during service; ensures floors are swept.
• Transports dishes and utensils safely between front of house and kitchen.
• Adheres to safety standards and HACCP guidelines.
