Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years as Front-of-House/Floor Manager in a full-service restaurant.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality management certification or degree preferred.
• Strong team-building and communication skills to train and motivate employees.
• Excellent customer service; guests treated like family.
• Proficient with time management and computer skills (Excel, Word); evenings/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for the Busboys and Poets brand.
• Uphold standards for employee performance and guest service.
• Coach and develop staff for promotion.
• Evaluate performance and document personnel information.
• Coordinate trainings and preshifts; manager meetings.
• Work with Managers and GM to ensure smooth operations.
• Resolve guest complaints with courtesy and excellence.
• Monitor health and fire regulations.
• Assist with duties of other staff as needed.
• Oversee scheduling and events with the Events Team.
