Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well trained. The role involves keeping the line clean, equipment functioning, and stepping in to assist when not busy.

The position requires knowledge of food safety, cash handling, and strong teamwork, with opportunities for growth toward Service Leader development and leadership training.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety: hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature monitoring, shelf-life checks, daily safety checklist adherence.
• Resolve customer incidents to ensure positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross train front-of-house crew and assist with performance reviews.
• Assist with creating future Service Leaders and office administration duties.
