Job summary

PJW Restaurant Group in Downingtown, PA is hiring a Front of House Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations, oversee sales and labor, ensure guest service meets PJW standards, and help direct training and supervision across front of house.

You will lead, coach and schedule servers and hosts, monitor food quality and sanitation, control costs, and foster a positive, productive work environment with clear communication and a team focus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
• ServSafe Certification required
• Ability to lead and make decisions using restaurant management guidelines
• Ability to analyze P&L statements and work within a budget
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management and guests
• Can-do attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn and execute quickly
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
• Basic computer skills and experience with scheduling, time and attendance and POS systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day front-of-house operations
• Support General Manager in achieving sales and labor targets
• Ensure guest service standards and food quality are met
• Schedule servers and hosts to match anticipated activity
• Train and coach staff to maintain high performance
• Monitor sanitation and safety compliance
• Assist in development and execution of marketing and promotions
