Job summary

California State University, Northridge is seeking a Senior Lead Usher to provide front-of-house supervision and guest services for The Soraya and campus theaters. This on-call, temporary role supports events, coordinates crowd flow, ticketing, seating, and safety procedures under the House Manager.

Responsibilities include leading Audience Services teams, assisting with post-event reports, ensuring compliance with policies, and delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in audience or customer services.
• Soraya Usher experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid and TIPS certifications preferred.
• Valid California driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Front-of-House at events and coordinate with House Manager.
• Interact with artists, renters, guests, and patrons; manage seating, access, and safety protocols.
• Lead Audience Services teams handling ticket scanning, programs, and crowd control; enforce venue policies.
• Contribute to post-event reports and support staff training and uniforms.
• Possibly act as sole FOH supervisor at PDSPH or Soraya events as needed.
