Job summary

Hinterland Brewery in Green Bay, WI seeks a friendly Restaurant Host to manage guest traffic at the door, greet guests, confirm reservations, and guide seating with a focus on exceptional service.

You'll coordinate with the Manager on Duty, prepare dining room, monitor guest experience, and assist servers as needed while maintaining a warm, can-do attitude. This role requires standing for long periods and a commitment to Hinterland's training and standards.

Qualifications

• Positive, can-do attitude and customer service approach.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Capable of safely lifting and handling items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create and contribute to a positive work environment with a customer-centric approach.
• Greet guests warmly, confirm reservations, and manage seating assignments.
• Attend shift line-up and coordinate with the MOD for section allocations.
• Prepare dining room setup and ensure neat, clean service areas.
• Monitor guest experience and address problems promptly with a courteous response.
• Assist servers with serving and clearing tables as able.
• Maintain knowledge of beer, wine, beverages, and menu items.
• Participate in scheduled meetings and Hinterland Training & Development.
