Job summary

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Durham, NC seeks a Service/Bar Manager to lead front of house operations with limited supervision. You’ll drive guest experience, manage scheduling, hire and develop hourly team, and coordinate with the General Manager to ensure smooth service in a high-volume restaurant.

You will supervise bar operations, inventory control, and staff training while maintaining professional appearance and exceptional hospitality. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years high volume, full-service restaurant experience.
• Oversees front of house operations and guest experience.
• Leads team development and hiring.
• Manages bar inventory and bi-weekly inventory of wine/liquor/beer.
• Partners with GM to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Engages with team and guests.
• Maintains dining room, bar, and front door presence to ensure guests are well cared for and steps of service are executed.
• Oversees learning and development of hourly team.
• Organizes scheduling for front of house team members.
• Responsible for hiring front of house staff to meet staffing goals.
• Manages bar inventory and ordering.
• Conducts wine, liquor, and beer inventory bi-weekly.
• Partners with the General Manager to ensure all operations run smoothly.
