Chick-fil-A is seeking a Front of House Director in Lombard, IL. Lead a fast-paced, customer-focused team, coach staff, and uphold Chick-fil-A service standards to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

You’ll coordinate with the kitchen, manage dining room ambiance, and report to the Owner/Operator. This role emphasizes team leadership, process improvement, and strong problem-solving in a high-energy setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in customer service, hospitality, or restaurant management.
• Basic computer and iPad competencies are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay positive under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coach and provide feedback to the team to foster a positive work environment.
• Educate managers and team on Chick-fil-A customer service standards.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to meet customer expectations.
• Manage dining room layout and create a hospitable atmosphere.
• Report to Owner/Operator and collaborate with other executives.
• Ensure smooth FOH shifts and delegate tasks as needed.
• Monitor inventory for FOH and hospitality supplies.
• Understand key FOH roles and responsibilities.
• Review Profit and Labor Reports and adjust as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Foster a positive and productive work environment by coaching and providing feedback to the team.
• Educate Managers and Team Members on Chick-fil-A customer service standards and productivity.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure food meets customer expectations.
• Manage the dining room layout and decor to create a hospitable atmosphere.
• Report to the Owner/Operator and work with other executive directors.
• Ensure smooth front of house / FOH shifts and delegate tasks as needed.
• Monitor and manage inventory for FOH and hospitality supplies.
• Demonstrate understanding of key positions in the front of the store.
• Evaluate and make changes based on Profit and Labor Reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 1-2 years relevant work experience in customer service, hospitality environment, or restaurant management is required.
• Must have basic computer and iPad competencies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for up to 8 hours, and be physically active for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when necessary.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Ability to understand and evaluate the Profit and Labor Reports.
• Open Availability preferred. Friday and Saturday
• availability required.
