Job summary

Solera Senior Living's Trulee Evanston is seeking a Front of House Dining Manager to lead the dining room service team and deliver warm, attentive hospitality to residents, families, and guests. You will supervise daily dining operations, training, scheduling, and dining room presentation, partnering with culinary staff to ensure high-quality experiences in a senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in hospitality or dining services.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to train and motivate staff to service standards.
• Passion for hospitality and senior living dining.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position.
• Annual flu vaccine required; medical and religious exemptions accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support front-of-house dining team members to deliver excellent service.
• Oversee dining room service, setup, cleanliness, presentation, and ambiance.
• Ensure team follows etiquette, standards, safety, and food handling.
• Support scheduling, training, onboarding, and development of dining staff.
• Partner with culinary team for dining room and kitchen communication.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and respond to needs professionally.
• Assist with special events, private dining, and resident programs as needed.
• Maintain a positive, professional presence with residents and families.
