Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Residential Front Load Driver in Ohio to service customer routes with waste and recycling collection. The role requires operating various trucks, performing pre/post-trip inspections, and maintaining route paperwork.

You will interact professionally with customers and ensure safe, compliant truck operations. Ideal candidates hold a valid Class B CDL and a current DOT Medical Card, are at least 19, and have no recent DUIs.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Card or able to obtain prior to hire
• Must be at least 19 years of age
• No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years
• Must not have any DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years
• Ability to travel between offices, as required
• Legally eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks in a safe and compliant manner to provide trash or recycling removal services to customers by emptying trash/recycling carts into truck and hauling to disposal site
• May be required to pull or push containers from enclosures or inside buildings
• Replace trash/recycling carts neatly at the curb or designated area
• Clean up waste spills and overflows
• Maintain and update route sheets
• Maintain cleanliness of truck cab
• Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete DVIR logs
• Professionally interact with internal and external customers
• Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body while following proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
