Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A or B CDL valid for the state of employment.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Understand refuse collection policies, DoT and state vehicle requirements.
• Good hearing and vision with or without correction.
• Ability to communicate with customers and colleagues in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate Front Load refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and routine cleaning.
• Record route data, mileage, fuel use and logs as required.
• Provide courteous, expeditious service and report issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean truck and safe operation on every route.
