Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. in the North Charlotte area is hiring energetic CDL drivers to operate residential refuse trucks on pre-assigned routes. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensure safe loading, and provide courteous service to customers along our routes.

The role requires a Class A or B CDL, clean driving record, and ability to read and follow DOT regulations. You must be at least 21, able to work 8–12 hour shifts in various weather, and communicate in English with coworkers

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B required and valid for the state of operation.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to read and follow DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Strong customer service orientation and courteous communication with the public.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to operate commercial vehicles.
• Ability to work 8–12 hour shifts in varying weather conditions and environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives a residential refuse truck on pre-established routes.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Provides courteous and efficient customer service to residents along the route.
• Unloads refuse at landfills or transfer facilities as required.
• Maintains cleanliness of the truck and adheres to safety guidelines.
• Complies with all DOT/state requirements for CMV operators.
• Supervises helpers on the vehicle and coordinates on-route tasks.
