Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is hiring Front Load Drivers with CDL experience in Concord, NC. You will operate refuse collection trucks on pre-assigned routes, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and provide courteous service to customers while maintaining safety on the road.

Qualifications include a valid CDL Class A or B, being at least 21, and the ability to read/communicate in English. We offer a $10,000 driver award and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Understand refuse collection policies, procedures, guidelines and practices; knowledge of DOT requirements for commercial motor vehicles.
• Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
• See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
• Exhibit normal range of body motion.
• Drive a front-end, side, rear-end, or roll off refuse truck with safe driving practices.
• Follow designated refuse collection routes and schedules; communicate instructions.
• Maintain written records and service responses.

Responsibilities

• The Front Load Driver services commercial businesses, empties containers, and transports waste to designated landfills.
• Completes route and productivity sheets, mileage, fuel consumption, logs, and vehicle reports.
• Communicates professionally with customers and reports issues to internal contacts.
• Drives safely, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and evaluating materials for collection.
• Cleans waste from the packer blade and truck body; maintains a clean truck weekly.
