Job summary

PAQ, Inc. seeks a Loss Prevention Security Specialist to protect assets and maintain a safe shopping environment at our Stockton store. You will stand at the front of the store, greet customers, deter theft, and calmly handle suspicious situations.

You will patrol the aisles, document incidents, collaborate with LP colleagues and local law enforcement, and help implement loss prevention policies. Flexibility to work part-time, weekends and holidays is required, with a strong commitment to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in retail or security.
• Knowledge of theft, fraud, and retail security laws.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and learn.
• Willingness to receive ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Stand at the front of the store to deter shoplifting and respond to incidents.
• Greet customers and de-escalate conflicts with composure.
• Regularly patrol the store to observe and report suspicious activity.
• Recover merchandise from potential shoplifters in a safe, service-oriented manner.
• Collaborate with LP, store staff and law enforcement to resolve incidents.
