Job summary

The Miami HEAT marketing department is seeking an entry-level Front-End Developer with a foundational understanding of Next.js, React, and WordPress. You will maintain HEAT.com and KaseyaCenter.com, ensure ADA compliance, and optimize for AI search visibility.

Responsibilities include daily content updates, performance testing, SEO improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new layouts and reusable components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS or related field.
• Experience with routine website maintenance and frontend development support.
• Content management proficiency for sports or live events.
• Strong understanding of WordPress CMS and HTML5/CSS3.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily content updates and maintain site accuracy across HEAT.com and KaseyaCenter.com.
• Implement metadata and schema markup for AI search visibility and GEO.
• Audit pages for ADA accessibility compliance and overall accessibility standards.
• Test and debug site code, monitor performance, and ensure responsive behavior on mobile and desktop.
• Collaborate with marketing teams and assist Web Manager/Developer with new layouts and reusable components.
