Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a motivated Cashier to provide fast, friendly service, process transactions, and promote our loyalty program. You will engage customers, handle payments, and bag purchases while maintaining store standards and product knowledge.

Training on wine, spirits, and beer is provided to build expertise. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years retail experience, comfort with POS systems, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1–3 years of work experience
• 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling
• Promote loyalty program and assist customers with inquiries
• Provide fast, friendly service and bagging
• Greet customers, engage to build relationships, inform about products and services
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge
• Maintain knowledge of promotions and safety standards across the store
• Adhere to laws and regulations related to sale of alcohol
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned
