Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Software Engineer to join our team in Maryland. Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and have at least 12 years of experience in software engineering, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Angular and RxJS, along with knowledge of Spring Boot and other technologies. We offer an excellent benefits package including 25 days PTO, 11 paid holidays, and full healthcare coverage from day one.

Required Clearances

Basic Requirements

• 12 years of experience as a software engineer
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• 4 additional years of experience as a software engineer may be substituted for a degree

Required Experience

• Experience with Angular and RxJS (Front-End) UI

Desired Experience

• Knowledge of the Spring Boot framework (not only Java or just Spring experience)
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, JMS, KAFKA, Java, Oracle, Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes/K8, Maven, Gradle, GitLab, CI/CD.
