Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced Web Developer with TS/SCI w/Poly for government programs. This full-time, hybrid role allows telework up to 16 hours weekly depending on sprint tasking.

You will drive software integration, debugging, and documentation, and build front-end apps using React, Angular, or Vue that connect to REST APIs in Java or NodeJS. Requirements include 8 years of relevant WD experience or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree, plus a technical bachelor’s.

Qualifications

• 8 years of Web Developer experience required in programs of similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; 4 extra years of WD experience can substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

• Software integration (new and existing systems).
• Troubleshooting, debugging and defects correction.
• Creation and editing of software system documentation.
• Developing applications interfacing with REST-based APIs/services in Tomcat/Java or NodeJS.

**Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph REQUIRED** Please do not apply if you do not currently possess this level of clearance.

Telework: Up to 16 hours per week, however telework hours will depend on tasking for the sprint

Basic Requirements:

• 8 years of experience as a Web Developer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
  • 4 additional years of WD experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Required Experience:

• Software Integration (new and existing systems)
• Troubleshooting, debugging and defects correction.
• Creation and editing of software system documentation
• JavaScript and Front-end JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue
• Developing applications interfacing with REST-based APIs/services in Apache Tomcat/Java or NodeJS.
