Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Front-end Supervisor to support store management in delivering excellent customer service and safe, efficient front-end operations. You will help supervise staff, manage schedules, and assist with budgeting and performance reporting.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work under pressure, and prior retail or customer service experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is expected, with potential for additional responsibilities including

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Retail or Customer Service experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions about products.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products and respond to questions with recommendations.
• Assist with monitoring and controlling department supply expenses.
• Assist with cash handling, sales and cash records for the store.
• Schedule Front-end associates to provide adequate department coverage.
• Assist in preparing the store/department budget and reviewing profit and loss reports.
• Contribute to department action plans to achieve targets.
• Collaborate with Front-end staff to promote teamwork.
• Maintain a positive attitude and uphold safety standards.
