Job summary

Food City is seeking a on-site front end supervisor intern for the Oak Park, TN store. You will oversee cashiers and courtesy clerks, promote courteous service, and ensure the policy of no more than two customers waiting in line is followed to keep service quick.

You will maintain front end cleanliness, monitor safe handling of funds, and assist in lane coordination, deposits, and security procedures while supporting overall store operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• On-site work with scheduled shifts in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Promote courteous service and maintain a queue policy of no more than two customers waiting.
• Supervise front-end operations and cashiers.
• Monitor lane coordination, safety, and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain security of safes and ensure proper deposits.
• Support housekeeping and front-end cleanliness.
• Enforce dress code and name tag policies.
• Assist in banking, money transfers, and AML compliance.
