Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Hammond, LA, is seeking a Front End Specialist to greet customers, operate the checkout, and help maintain a welcoming, well-merchandised store at the front of the sales floor. The role emphasizes a positive attitude, teamwork, and service during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

You will support promotions and Ollie’s Army donations while upholding our core values and delivering great value to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and a team player who wants to engage and serve customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front end.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
