Job summary

Dexian seeks a Front End Software Engineer to design and maintain the client-side of web and mobile apps in a Detroit area onsite environment. The role focuses on delivering engaging user interfaces and seamless experiences while aligning with architectural guidelines.

The ideal candidate has multiple years in IT, development, and a Bachelor’s degree, plus exposure to cloud and modern tooling (GCP, Azure, PostgreSQL, Tekton). This is a 12+ month onsite engagement with a client-centric mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 4 years of information technology experience.
• At least 3 years of development experience.
• Typically requires an Engineer 2 level of experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with a coding language or framework.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their use-cases and pain points, advocating for user-centric solutions.
• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering frontend solutions using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• Ensure alignment with architecture guidelines to maintain a unified development approach.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, back-end developers, and architects.
• Create mock-ups and prototypes to visualize new features and demonstrate product demos.
• Perform functional and UI automated testing to ensure high-quality development.
• Continuously improve application performance by fixing bugs and adopting new technologies.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging UI design trends.
