Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in IT with at least 3 years in hands-on development.
• Experience with backend APIs and microservices.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Familiarity with cloud and on-prem deployment and management.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and data protection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use-cases and requirements.
• Design, develop, and deploy APIs and microservices using Java and related tech.
• Collaborate with front-end and cross-functional teams for seamless integration.
• Manage deployment to cloud or on-prem environments with health monitoring and security hardening.
• Oversee data storage and retrieval using databases like MySQL and MongoDB.
• Advocate for best practices including CI/CD and test-driven development.
• Optimize deployment strategies to improve resiliency and reliability.
• Support security best practices to protect user data through encryption and anonymization.
