Job summary

Food Lion in Goose Creek, SC is seeking a Front End Associate to deliver fast, friendly service and assist with front-end operations. You will greet customers, manage transactions, maintain neat presentations, and support the Cashier and Customer Service teams to meet company standards.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, handling cash accurately, loading and stocking front-end supplies, and participating in CBT trainings to uphold Food Lion guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and use their name whenever possible.
• Maintain knowledge of front end procedures including cash reports, deposits, and related transactions.
• Ensure the MVP savings center KIOSK is functioning properly and stocked.
• Perform cashier duties and assist as needed per surge plans.
• Keep front end area neat and clean and adhere to dress code.
• Adhere to all company guidelines and safety standards.
• Notify QA of any cleaning or maintenance issues.
