Job summary

Cato Networks is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Front End Infra team, developing our cloud-based networking and security management solutions.

This role requires you to lead frontend infrastructure tasks, design and implement features, and drive modern CI/CD, testing, and cross-team collaboration. The position is hybrid, with three days in the Prague office.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in web applications development with modern front-end frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the Front End infra team and modernize the stack.
• Lead the design and implementation of frontend infrastructure tasks.
• Collaborate with the various teams and help drive our FE to a modern CI-CD.
• Build, maintain, optimize CI pipelines and front end testing frameworks.
• Researching new technologies and adapting them for use in the company’s product.
• Be an expert and mentor of our front-end stack, define best practices, mentoring / tech advocating cross teams.
• Be a part of the Cato Prague team and help shape the culture of the Prague site.

Cato Networks is looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Cato team. This role requires you to be a critical part of the Front-End Infra team, developing our award-winning, cloud-based proprietary networking and security management solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Be part of the Front End infra team, and join the efforts of modernizing our stack and platform.
• Lead the design and implementation of the front-end infrastructure tasks.
• Collaborate with the various teams and help drive our FE to a modern CI-CD.
• Build, maintain, optimize CI pipelines and front end testing frameworks.
• Researching new technologies and adapting them for use in the company’s product.
• Be an expert and mentor of our front-end stack, define best practices, mentoring / tech advocating cross teams.

We're using:

• React, TypeScript, Vite, GraphQL, Figma, Storybook, Material UI, Playwright, etc.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of web applications development in modern front-end framework development (preferably React).
• 4+ years of React , Typescript.
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles Architect, design, and develop a complex web application.
• Experience with and understanding of Micro-Frontend Architecture and Best Practices.
• Experience with GraphQL - Advantage.
• Experience with Building and maintaining CI pipelines - Github actions / Jenkins.
• Experience with maintaining testing frameworks and optimising test runs in CI pipelines - Playwright / Cypress/ Vitest.
• Ability to self-learn new skills and technologies.
• Motivated, fast learner, and great at problem-solving.
• Team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Independent Task owner that can drive a complex project from start to finish.
• Passionate about Front end and developer experience.

*We operate in a hybrid model, requiring three days in the office.
