Esatto Pharma in Mesa, AZ seeks a Front End Pharmacy Technician to provide excellent customer service to patients and providers. You will work with Front End and Compounding Technicians, Staff Pharmacists, and report to the Pharmacist-in-Charge. The role includes prescription entry, processing orders, and assisting in audits.

Full-time, 40 hours per week, with a 9:30 am to 6:00 pm schedule, Monday to Friday. Requires Arizona-certified pharmacy technician and ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Certified pharmacy technician in Arizona.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Background check and drug testing required.
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Flexibility to fill in at other locations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and providers in person and by phone.
• Enter prescription information using pharmacy management software.
• Fill prescriptions and prepare for pick up or shipment.
• Process prescription orders to ensure correct medication and timeliness.
• Process medication orders through point of sale system.
• Participate in audits and quality improvement activities.
• Complete documentation such as labels, logs, and reports accurately.

FRONT END PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

The Front End Pharmacy Technician is responsible for providing excellent customer service for our patients and providers at our retail compounding pharmacy in Mesa. This role works in collaboration with their fellow Front End and Compounding Technicians, Staff Pharmacists, and reports to the Pharmacist-in-Charge.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and providers in person and by phone.
• Leverage pharmacy management software for efficient entry of prescription information and to provide updates to patients.
• Fill prescriptions and prepare for pick up or shipment.
• Effectively process prescription orders to quickly get the right medication to the right patient at the right time.
• Process medication orders through point of sale system.
• Participate in regular audits and inspections.
• Participate in any department meeting and quality improvement activities.
• Complete appropriate documentation such as labels, log sheets, and reports in a timely manner.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Full Time: 40 hours per week
• High School degree or equivalent
• Certified pharmacy technician in the state of Arizona
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to undergo a background check and drug testing in advance of employment
• Must be capable of using the appropriate personal protective equipment as required per procedure and medication handled.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• Flexibility to fill-in at our other locations considered a plus.

COMPENSATION

• $19-23/hour based upon experience and capabilities
• Eligible for additional compensation through quarterly technician bonus program
