Job summary

CVS Health Corporation, via Omnicare, is seeking a Front End Pharmacy Technician for the Indianapolis site. You will perform order entry, assist the pharmacist, and ensure accurate recordkeeping in a closed-door pharmacy setting.

Authorized responsibilities include triaging requests, verifying dosages, and communicating allergies and interactions to the dispensing pharmacist. Minimum HS diploma; 1+ year experience; shift 11:30am–8:00pm, Mon–Fri with rotating Saturdays. Benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• 1+ year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Experience in the long-term care industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform order entry tasks in a closed-door pharmacy.
• Triaging customer service requests by department and urgency.
• Verify narcotic Rx’s are back in a timely manner.
• Provide dispensing pharmacist with allergy/drug interaction information and other flagged items.
• Create and maintain accurate customer records.
