SharkNinja is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II for Corded/Cordless Products in Needham, MA. You will join a fast-paced team responsible for turning ambiguous consumer problems into working prototypes and guiding product direction with early-stage validation.

You’ll own front-end technology feasibility, build proof-of-concept rigs, and work across mechanical design, sensors, software, batteries, and connectivity to shape the product roadmap. This role is on-site in Needham, MA.

Responsibilities

• Driving the front-end technology and feasibility roadmap for Corded/Cordless Products products, collaborating with engineering, industrial design, brand, and test kitchen teams across the US, UK, and China
• Building proof-of-concept rigs and functional prototypes to stress-test ideas early — before the business invests in full development
• Working across the full system: mechanical design, sensors, software, batteries, connectivity — you see the whole picture, not just your slice of it
• Communicating ideas rapidly through sketching, CAD layouts, 3D models, and physical prototypes
