Can-One USA is seeking a Front End Maintenance Mechanic to support maintenance and repair of front-end production equipment in an aluminum can manufacturing environment in Nashua, NH. This role focuses on troubleshooting, rebuilding, and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, experience with industrial machinery, and the ability to perform precision work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using precision measuring equipment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
• Ability to follow established safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair front-end production equipment
• Maintain equipment such as cuppers, body makers, trimmers, coil handling systems, and related machinery
• Perform equipment tear-downs, rebuilds, adjustments, and precision reassembly
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine appropriate repair solutions
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
• Use precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment documentation
• Operate machine shop equipment such as lathes, presses, and grinders when required
• Assist with machine adjustments, equipment improvements, and maintenance projects
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all company safety procedures and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements
