Can-One USA, a global aluminum can manufacturer in Nashua, NH, seeks a Front End Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift. You will support maintenance and repair of front-end production equipment involved in early aluminum can manufacturing.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, rebuilding, and precise mechanical work with strong safety focus and teamwork within a modern manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Ability to follow established safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair front-end production equipment.
• Maintain equipment such as cuppers, body makers, trimmers, coil handling systems, and related machinery.
• Perform equipment tear-downs, rebuilds, adjustments, and precision reassembly.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine appropriate repair solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Use precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment documentation.
• Operate machine shop equipment such as lathes, presses, and grinders when required.
• Assist with machine adjustments, equipment improvements, and maintenance projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety procedures and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
