Job summary

Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator at the Medford Quarry in New Windsor, MD. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6 AM–4 PM, focusing on safe operation and routine maintenance of the front end loader to supply materials for concrete production.

Responsibilities include moving material on site, following SOPs to troubleshoot issues, and adjusting equipment under supervision to maximize production while supporting team needs. 1+ year loader experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year related mobile equipment operation experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability; familiarity with OSHA/MSHA regulations.
• Effective time management and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty equipment to move material around the site per safety standards.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions using standard operating procedures.
• Under supervision, adjust equipment to maximize production.
• Support team operations with additional assigned tasks as needed.
